Vintage knotted rya rug designed by Anita Dahlin in 1960. Handwoven the same year at Märta Måås-Fjetterström AB, Båstad, Sweden. Marked AB MMF and AD (artist’s initials). 

The rug comes with a certificate of authenticity. 

Gläntan was inspired by dewdrops in a woodland glade. If you look closely, you can even spot a spiderweb glistening in the early morning sun.

MATERIALS AND CARE
The rug is hand-knotted in wool on a linen warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
