Vintage tapestry designed by Barbro Nilsson in 1948. Handwoven wool and linen on linen warp, marked BN (artist's initials). 101 x 80 cm, including frame. 

The tapestry is framed in a solid oak frame with art glass and a backing of linen fabric woven locally in Båstad. It comes with a certificate of authenticity from Märta Måås-Fjetterström AB.

Barbro Nilsson was the studio’s artistic director for nearly three decades. Starting in 1943, Nilsson was integral in managing Märta Måås’s legacy and developing the studio for a new era.
