Vintage knotted rya rug designed by Marianne Richter in 1944. Handwoven at Märta Måås-Fjetterström AB, Båstad, Sweden. Marked AB MMF and MR (artist’s initials). 

The rug comes with a certificate of authenticity. 

Ädelstenen, with its rich, deep hues, was inspired by glistening gemstones shimmering in the dark.

This rug is currently on display in our Stockholm showroom.

MATERIALS AND CARE
The rug is hand-knotted in wool on a linen warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
