Vintage rölakan flat weave rug designed by Barbro Nilsson in 1948. Handwoven wool on linen warp according to the artist’s detailed instructions at Märta Måås-Fjetterström AB, Båstad, Sweden. Marked AB MMF and BN (artist’s initials). 

The rug comes with a certificate of authenticity. 

MATERIALS AND CARE
The rug is handwoven in wool on a linen warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
