Vintage knotted rya rug designed by Marianne Richter in 1969. Handwoven at Märta Måås-Fjetterström AB in 1985 by Marita Hall, Båstad, Sweden. Marked AB MMF and MR (artist’s initials). 

The rug is recorded under archive number 5214 and comes with a certificate of authenticity. 

The rug is mounted for wall hanging and has always been displayed on a wall. An aluminium hanging rail is included.

MATERIALS AND CARE
The rug is hand-knotted in wool on a linen warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
