Vintage flatweave rug designed by Barbro Nilsson in 1952. Handwoven at Märta Måås-Fjetterström AB, Båstad, Sweden. Marked AB MMF and BN (artist’s initials). 

Falurutan with it's many different color variations has been one of the most popular comissions for decades. A timeless design rooted in Swedish traditions. 
Falurutan, sol-brun gul (sunny brown and yellow), has warm sunny tones and is a rare colorway. 

This rug comes with a certificate of authenticity. 

MATERIALS AND CARE
The rug is hand-woven in wool on a linen warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
