Vintage knotted rya rug designed by Märta Måås-Fjettersström in 1923. Handwoven at Märta Måås-Fjetterström, Båstad, Sweden. Marked ABMMF. 

The rug comes with a certificate of authenticity. 

Hästhagen was designed for and first shown at the 1923 Gothenburg Tercentennial Jubilee Exposition. 

MATERIALS AND CARE
The rug is hand-knotted in wool on a linen warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
