Confident in the strength of Märta Måås-Fjetterström's classic pattern Bruna Heden from 1931, the studio  takes the liberty of inviting innovative thinking in connection with the Liljevalchs exhibition in 2009.

Four contemporary designers were invited to bring new color to the classic pattern. The groundbreaking rugs are called Heden Remix and are woven in an edition of five. All of the designers engage in a collegial and respectful dialogue with Märta Måås-Fjetterström's composition.

FRONT has chosen to return to the origins with their Heden Remix. They aim to highlight the traces of the hand that held the watercolor brush and created the lines and shades. They want to see Märta Måås-Fjetterström's intention and vision in the sketch. Therefore, FRONT wants today's artisans to weave the remix directly based on the original sketch from 1931, a watercolor of a quarter of a rug signed Rödlakan Bruna Heden Märta Måås-Fjetterström.

Five Heden Remix – FRONT rugs will be woven, measuring approximately 200 x 250 cm. Number 5/5 remains, with the other four sold.
