Josefina reflects Marianne Richter’s strong sense for color. Cold and warm reds are set against one another, creating a lively surface with depth and movement. Although the design appears straightforward, it is technically demanding to weave. The combination of intricate detail and a balanced overall composition has seen Josefina used in a wide range of prestigious interiors over the years, including government residences, yachts, and restaurants.

MATERIALS AND CARE
The rug is hand-knotted in wool on a linen warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
