The rug comes with a certificate of authenticity and is currently on display in our Stockholm showroom. 

Röda åttan takes its name from the octagon creating the base of the pattern. The design is characterized by its geometric simplicity, balance, and rhythm—hallmarks of Måås-Fjetterström’s style, which blends Swedish folk art traditions with modernist sensibilities.

MATERIALS AND CARE
The rug is handwoven in wool on a wool warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
