Vintage handwoven rölakan flatweave designed by Ann-Mari Forsberg  in 1948. Handwoven at Märta Måås-Fjetterström AB, Båstad, Sweden. Marked AB MMF and AMF (artist's initials). 

The rug comes with a certificate of authenticity and is currently on display in our Stockholm showroom. 

In true Ann-Mari Forsberg fashion, the design is composed of mirrored geometric shapes. The weaving technique is used to its full potential, resulting in a pattern that is both joyful and sophisticated.

MATERIALS AND CARE
The rug is handwoven in wool on a linen warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
