Vintage handwoven rölakan flatweave designed by Märta Måås-Fjetterström in 1924. Handwoven in the 1920s at Märta Måås-Fjetterström, Båstad, Sweden. Marked MMF. 

The rug comes with a certificate of authenticity and is currently on display in our Stockholm showroom. 

This is a collector’s piece and should not be used in a heavy-duty area. One Dukater rug is in the permanent collection of Gävleborgs museum.  

MATERIALS AND CARE
The rug is handwoven in wool on a wool warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers.

To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
