In 1966, Barbro Nilsson created 'Strandmattan' – the Beach rug. Its colors are very similar to the immensely popular 'Tånga, ljus' created a few years earlier – but the pattern is is more restrained and geometric. Nonetheless, there is not an absolute repetition in the pattern, creating interest for the eye. We have one 'Strandmattan' measuring 131 x 185 cm ready for immediate delivery, but it can also be woven in several other sizes as made to order.
