Handwoven in 2001 at Märta Måås-Fjetterström AB, Båstad, Sweden by Birgit Svensson. Marked AB MMF. 

The rug is recorded in the Märta Måås-Fjetterström archive under inventory number 36974.

This present runner was commissioned by Märta Måås-Fjetterström chair Ulrik Swedrup for his office in 2001. The motif is inspired by the traditional Scanian legend dating back to the 12th century. One Bäckahästen rug is in the permanent collection of Nordiska museet.
