Special Terms – Made-To-Order
Order
Made-To-Order items are specially manufactured for the customer based on agreed-upon dimensions, materials, and designs. For Made-To-Order purchases, Märta Måås-Fjetterström reserves the right to request a deposit of at least one-third of the item's price. The deposit must be paid to Märta Måås-Fjetterström no later than three weeks from receipt of the order confirmation.
Production of the item will begin once the deposit is paid, which means that the delivery time is affected by the timing of the deposit payment. Requests for changes to the item's properties, such as dimensions, color, or design, after the deposit has been paid, will be considered but cannot be guaranteed. Please submit alteration requests as soon as possible. Any additional costs for changes are to be paid by the customer.
Right of Withdrawal
The order may be canceled within 14 days from the day the order confirmation for Made-To-Order items is sent by contacting studio@mmf.se. Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply after the deposit is paid, and production of the item has begun.
Cancellation and Returns
Made-To-Order items are considered custom-made and have a clear personal touch, meaning that open purchase or exchange rights do not apply.
Complaints
Complaints regarding defects in an item must be made in writing to studio@mmf.se within a reasonable time after you discover or should have discovered the defect. Two months is normally considered a reasonable time.
If a complaint is not made within a reasonable time from the discovery of the defect or should have been discovered, and within three years of receiving the item, the right to claim remedies according to the Consumer Services Act is forfeited against Märta Måås-Fjetterström.
If a complaint is accepted, you will be reimbursed for all your costs associated with the complaint, including the cost of returning the item.
