Vintage handwoven tapestry designed by Barbro Nilsson.

The Tree of Life often stood as inspiration for Barbro Nilsson’s work. In the above design – ‘Träd i skogen’ – the tree intertwines with others, creating a forest. Only a handful have been woven, each with slight variations to the borders and colors, making every tapestry unique. We are now selling one ‘Träd i skogen’ woven at Barbro Nilsson’s own workshop in 1950 for the MMF studio.

The tapestry is currently on loan to the exhibition "Liv I färg och form" and will be available to ship after October 6, 2024.
